In 2010, Michael previously co-founded Dext, formerly Receipt Bank. Dext pioneered automatically extracting data from receipts & invoices for accounts payable and expenses. It is a key tool for 10k+ firms of accountants and bookkeepers around the world and is used by more than 1m SMB users.
In 2021, Dext was acquired by Hg Capital for hundreds of millions of pounds.
